Is infrared light harmful or dangerous for the skin or eyes?
On the contrary, near-infrared light is widely used in LED technologies to combat skin aging. However, it is crucial to always verify the precision of the LEDs used.
Our My Red Lab LED Mask employs red light at 633nm and near-infrared light at 830nm with a high precision of +/- 2 nanometers per LED. These LEDs are the most precise, offering an exceptionally accurate light spectrum. This precision makes them more effective while ensuring a spectrum far from harmful rays.

The two lights work in synergy: when combined, the results on the skin are even better. Infrared rays penetrate deeper into the skin, reaching the hypodermis, allowing actions such as reducing wrinkles, improving firmness, fighting acne and scars, or providing an immediate glow.
Do I need glasses to use my mask?
Our masks are designed to be safe for the eyes, but avoid looking directly at the illuminated LEDs. You can choose to wear the eye protection included in the mask pack. The professional mask, which is more powerful, also offers additional opaque eye protectors.
